How does it glow?
The fabric is coated in tiny glass beads that bounce light straight back to where it came from. So when car headlights, a bike light or a torch hit you, the jacket shines bright white to the person behind the light. In daylight it just looks silver-grey.
Does it glow in the dark on its own?
No. It's reflective, not glow-in-the-dark: it needs a light pointing at it, like headlights. That's exactly when you need to be seen.
Is it waterproof?
It's wind-resistant and water-repellent, with a mesh lining so it breathes on runs. It'll handle drizzle and showers, but it isn't a heavy-duty waterproof.
What size should I get?
Go by chest size. S: 86–94cm · M: 94–102cm · L: 102–110cm · XL: 110–118cm · 2XL: 118–126cm · 3XL: 126–132cm. It's a relaxed fit, so if you're between sizes, pick the smaller one for running. Wrong size? We'll swap it.
Is it certified hi-vis workwear?
No. RFLKT is made for running, walking and cycling. It isn't certified as PPE for roadside or site work.
How do I wash it?
Cool hand wash or gentle machine wash, no fabric softener, hang to dry. Don't tumble dry or iron the reflective fabric.
